DEERFIELD TWP. — Warren County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a man who robbed a BP gas station Tuesday in Deerfield Twp.
A man entered the BP station at 9855 Mason-Montgomery Road at the Interstate 71 interchange around 9:20 p.m., according to a release from the sheriff’s office.
The suspect allegedly jumped over the counter, displayed a handgun and demanded cash. He allegedly grabbed an undetermined amount of cash and fled out the front door. A sheriff’s K-9 unit did a track, which led to an adjacent parking lot where the track was lost, according to deputies.
No one was injured in the incident.
The suspect was described as a black male, about 6-feet-tall, with a slender build. He was wearing blue jeans, a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, gloves and a surgical-type of mask to cover his face.
